A LOTT of Sista Love, Inc. is a Christian women's fellowship group named to honor Stephanie Vardell Lott. Ms. Lott was a dear friend to
Founder Monica L. Sanders for more than 20 years. The two met at Woodrow Wilson High School in Washington, DC and were knitted at the heart from the very beginning of their relationship. "Smooches" as Lott was affectionately called never missed a wedding, baby shower, birthday or anniversary of Monica's life.
Ms. Lott suddenly passed away on August 25, 2006. After her death as any close friend, Sanders was devastated and shocked. She begin to seek GOD for how to deal with such a large void in her life especially after experiencing the passing of another great woman her Grandmother, Ms. Clara Griffith one year prior.
GOD spoke concerning the legacy of these two women who Sanders loved dearly and shared her most inner thoughts during the years. Ms. Lott along with Sanders Grandmother had an encouraging, supporting, caring, and loving spirit towards women. Ms. Lott shared from her heart with many especially on education, vision and love...so out of Monica's grief GOD allowed A LOTT of Sista Love, Inc. to be born.
On October 1, 2006 A LOTT of Sista Love, Inc. held its first fellowship and empowerment for women. Since then chapters have formed in High Point, NC, Washington, DC, Georgetown, SC, Jacksonville, Fl & an International Chapter in Hamilton, Bermuda.
